I was able to meet up with Andy Kersey reserve manager for our area of Plantlife, at the top end of the reserve (Far Overclose).
There were lots of Meadow Saxifrage towards the stile at the top end. We discovered two patches of Pignut. The rocks were getting overgrown with moss... But may be if the drought that seems to be starting continues, the moss will get knocked back.
We saw the sheets of Early purple orchids in one place, and I kicked myself for not coming up to see them two weeks earlier.
