I have enjoyed doing 30 Days Wild in June in previous years. (encouraged by the Wildlife Trusts)
This year I am going outside every day in May. It is quite hard keeping up with blogging.

2 May: Lichens in SD8069 - 25 species on greywacke boulders and wall near Helwith Bridge Quarry
3 May: Lichens near Foredale Farm in SD8069
4 May - afternoon: Lambing Service at Horton in Ribblesdale - I took Doris.
6 May: Eco Explorers Walk along Brockhole Lane (our score for the lane has now reached 45 flowers!!)
7 May: No photos. Wed am Lichens Chat and Improvement Group Zoom meeting indoors,Thur 8b May: VE Day flare at Cenotaph, Settle at 9.30pm
10 May: Sat in Church Garden with some people who were coming to the "Climate of Truth" talk; by Mike Berners-Lee. Then heard his talk and photoed him outside.
10 May Saturday afternoon: Attended a "Ground Nest Fest" Model making session and made a Lapwing and posed with it outside the Scout Hall.
10 May: Walk at Malham Outflow stream - The tarn shore is very low.
11 May: Walk in evening round Ripon - 5 churches - wildflowers: Lambs lettuce, Common Vetch; Lichens: Chewing-gum Lichen, and Candelaria concolor
Mon 12 May: Zumba Gold at Allhallowgate, Luxury trip to M&S Food then Visit to Sharow Churchyard to look for their Meadow Saxifage - a bit frazzled - the churchyard really is a tiny oasis of natural grassland - surrounded by arable land - potatoes maybe? - waiting for rain.
Tue 13 May - Went to Settle to help with Christian Aid. Afterwards Lost my Rainbow Bag somewhere; Wonderful trip with Eco-Explorers to YWT "Poppy Wood" (15 wildflowers outside, five more in)
and Plantlife Winskill Stones - The three girls aged 2 to 8 loved running on the hillside. Here we found Mossy Saxifrage and Early Purple Orchids.. And the moss and grass retreating slightly from the stones due to lack of rain.
Wed 14 May - The river level at the Locks has finally gone down from - 1cm to -2cm. Showed a visitor our garden area at church. Helped Cynthia get some stuff for D. Helped hang up a sign for the Christian Aid Coffee Evening
Thur, 15 May: Plan to collect some grasses to take down to Juniper Hall
Fri 16 May: Caught 12.35 Train to Dorking West Station, Juniper Hall

Mon 19 May - Garden Flowers at Peaselake; train ride home
Tue 20 May: :ate night trip to Booths at 8.30pm
Wed 21 May: Wheeled the sign boards in after coffee morning
