I did not record Lilac in my Lockdown walks in 2020 so here are two pictures in 2021 both taken in the Hoffman kiln yard. at Langcliffe
The BSBI website say it can grow as a garden escape.
The purple lilac had smaller and more crinkly leaves
They are busy levelling the ground the the old council offices area where I found many interesting flowers last year such as montbretia and Wild Basil. Hey Ho.
I took this picture at 7.30am - My new neighbours, are enjoying the sun - Swiss Vallais Blacknose sheep I think
